Q. Is the acre site completely sustainable and/ or closed loop?
A. No, we are not, but we are trying to get a little bit better every day.
If you see something on your visit that we could be doing better
– please let us know!
Q. Do you cater for weddings & events?
A. We love hosting weddings, engagements, birthday parties,
product launches and more!
For any event enquiries, please get in touch at
Q. Do you allow school groups to visit?
A. Of course! We ask all school groups to kindly book in advance.
We have a purpose-built outdoor classroom ready for your next school
group tour. Please visit our ‘discover’ tab for more details.
Q. Is there on-site parking?
A. There is underground parking available as part of the Brickworks
centre. Head up the travelator and elevator, or take the stairs.
We can’t wait to see you ;)
Q. Are we allowed to bring dogs?
A. We love four-legged friends! They can join you for a stroll around the farm (on a leash please),
but unfortunately not indoors. Both our farmhouse restaurant and glasshouse café
offer outdoor seating for you to enjoy a bite with your pooch.
Q. Do you provide off-site catering?
A. Of course! We would love to cater your next event, wherever that may be.
Please contact us -
Q. Can you cater for allergies?
A. We will always do our best to cater for most allergies. We please ask that you
give us as much notice as possible if allergies are severe.
Q. Are you interested in stocking my local produce?
A. We would love to hear more!
Q. Will everything served in the restaurant come from the farm?
A. We are aiming to provide all of the greens, herbs and flowers for the
restaurant. The farm will aim to provide the bulk of the vegies served,
but any fruit and veg that will be supplemented will come from
farms and friends who practice nature-based farming techniques
ie. chemical free and building soils via composting, worm farming and
returning organic matter to the soil. Our seafood and animal-based proteins are
sourced from a mix of carbon-neutral and ethically sourced producers and suppliers.
Q. What kind of soil are you using, and where is it from?
A. It is an engineered soil created specifically for rooftops.
Our rooftop soil needs to be lightweight due to weight restrictions.
All of the soil elements are natural - clay, sand, coconut fibre, compost.
Q. Is your soil organic / biodynamic?
A. The way the farm is managed through fertilisers, soil treatment,
pest management and more utilises techniques and guidelines
from organic farming, biodynamic and sustainable agriculture.
In short though, no we are not certified organic.
Q. How do you look after your quail?
A. We have someone looking after our feathery friends every day
and raise our quail for eggs only. We feed our quail beans, peas, melon pulp
and leafy greens, as well as high protein feed containing oats and barley.
On hot and sunny days the house provides shade, and we turn on
the misters and add ice to their tub.
Have you tried quail eggs? Look out for specials on our menu :)
Q. Do you keep any other animals?
A. Our chicken coop just welcomed 3 beautiful Silkies!
Our aim is to educate visitors on how to care for chickens
in the hope to re-home these beautiful birds.
Silkies are calm and friendly by nature and love a pat from our young visitors.
Their size and temperament make them a great place to start if you are interested
in keeping poultry. If you are interested in taking home your own Silkie,
please get in touch at
Q. Disabled access
A. The majority of the site, with the exception of our Garden Path, is disabled friendly.
A. We are fully licensed and proud to offer select wines, beer, cocktails
and more. We are not BYO.
